What Is Tapping?

How Does It Work?
As mentioned earlier, Tapping makes use of the body’s meridian points to restore energy balance.

Identify The Issue
As you probably expected, the very first step to your healing is to look within and of course, identify the issue or fear that’s preventing you from living your life to the fullest.

Note: you’re more likely to see greater results if you focus on just one problem at a time.
Test the Initial Intensity
Now that you’ve identified the challenge, it’s time to set a benchmark level of the intensity.
The intensity level is typically rated on a scale ranging from 0 to 10, and of course, 10 represents the worst or most intense.
It could be the intensity of your headache or any negative emotion.
When you establish a benchmark, you’ll get to monitor your progress after completing the EFT sequence, and that’s a big part of the plan.
At this point, it’s crucial to come up with a phrase that sheds more light on what you’re trying to address — you should do this before you start. For the most part, you should first acknowledge the problems and of course, fully accept yourself.
Need an example? Well, you could say, “I know that I have this fear or problem, but nevertheless I know that God loves me.
I accept myself as He does, right now completely.” OR something along those lines.
It’s all up to you to decide on the phrase that fits your situation.
Essentially, you have a higher chance of relieving the problem if you focus on how it makes you feel. Just take a good look at your challenges and of course, create the most accurate phrase that’s sure to work.
The EFT Sequence
This is the stage where you start tapping on the ends of nine meridian points that mirror each side of the body.
It’s important to note that there are actually 12 major meridians, but this set healing technique will focus on just nine including:
Karate chop (KC): small intestine meridian
Top of head (TH): governing vessel
Eyebrow (EB): bladder meridian
Side of the eye (SE): gallbladder meridian
Under the eye (UE): stomach meridian
Under the nose (UN): governing vessel
Chin (Ch): central vessel
Beginning of the collarbone (CB): kidney meridian
Under the arm (UA): spleen meridian
Alright. Now start tapping the karate chop point and at the same time, recite your setup phrase — do it up to three times. Moving down the body in an ascending order, tap each of the following point seven (7) times:
Side of eye
Under the eye
Under the nose
Beginning of the collarbone
Under the arm
Once you’re done patting the underarm point, round up the cycle at the top of the head point.
Never forget to recite a reminder phrase while tapping the ascending points — this will help you focus more on the issue at hand.

Test the Final Intensity
Once you’re done with your sequence, be sure to rate your intensity level on the normal scale of 0 to 10. And of course, compare your results with the initial intensity level.
If you find that you haven’t reached zero, I’ll recommend you repeat the process. Just keep at it until you feel the inner peace and joy you deserve.
