Low Carb Christmas Dessert Ideas and Christmas Cookie Ideas
(Recipe Round Up)
1.) Cream Cheese Christmas Cookies from LowCarbYum.com.
We made these last year and totally loved them! The flavor and the texture were both perfect.
Since we have celiac, we appreciated having a gluten free option to indulge our cravings for Christmas sweets.
Each year before we knew we had celiac, we made cookies and decorated them.
We always had such a good time doing that together.
So, needless to say we were excited to do that with this recipe last year.
Santa love these cookies too!
2.) Low Carb Pumpkin Cookies that are also gluten and dairy free from LowCarbYum.com.
My house is gluten and dairy free for the most part; on special occasions we do make some things that have dairy in them)
However, since we usually pay for that with stomach aches, we totally appreciate recipes like this without dairy!
Pumpkin is a great holiday flavor too.
3.) Low Carb Easy Cheesecake Recipe from Lettucethrive.com
My grandma always made a huge homemade cheesecake every Christmas and I always looked so forward to that!
Now, I can make my own low carb version and satisfy that happy emotional memory.
You will love this recipe and can easily top it off with any low carb berry.
Maybe red raspberries would be nice for your holiday table?
4.) Easy Pumpkin Fudge Recipe-Sugar Free and Paleo from LowCarbYum.com
Fudge is another holiday favorite. This treat is one my own mom makes and brings over every year.
Up to now, I have enjoyed one piece but the sheer sweetness and high sugar content makes me nervous.
I just can't tolerate a lot of sugar at one time anymore. Thank goodness there are a couple wonderful low carb fudge recipes for her to try now!
5.) No Bake Frosted Brownie Walnut Fudge by Beautyandthefoodie.com
This second fudge recipe is also low carb, no bake, paleo, and vegan.

Walnuts are super healthy and so is chocolate so I wouldn't feel guilty eating some of this!
Again fudge is a fave of ours when it comes to Christmas dessert ideas.
6.) Low Carb Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Truffles by Lettucethrive.com
These little gems look nice and taste great. Not only that, but they are actually quite healthy.

This low carb mocha roll makes a great Christmas Yule log.
I remember last year at work someone made a yule log and of course it was loaded with sugar, carbs, and gluten.
So, although it was beautiful, I wasn't able to sample it.
This year, if I make the mocha roll here, everyone can enjoy it. It is made without flour or nuts.

Okay, so we made and posted these ourselves. As you can see by the picture we made these in the summer time I think.

You already know we love chocolate and anything created with chocolate.
These truffles look great! The nutty flavor of the hazelnut makes these really decadent.
As with our own truffles, combining the chocolate with coconut oil makes it even creamier and more healthy too.
