They are all ones you can order online and get delivered to your house and furthermore, buy in bulk to save money. Not surprisingly, before she spends her money on these convenient snacks, she wants to be sure she loves them.
Hi, I'm Kara and I want to tell you which are the best gluten and dairy free bars.
Hello! My name is Kara and I was born with Celiac Disease, Down syndrome, and thyroid disease. None of these things stop me from having a great life. My special diet has to be free of wheat, oats, rye, and barley which is all gluten. I also have to be dairy free because of dairy makes my stomach really upset.
I also have to be careful not to eat too much sugar because I gain weight easily and plus, my doctor said I could get diabetes. Shots every day? No way, I pass!
I Only Like Delicious Food.
One thing I hate is when my mom packs me something gross because my lunchtime snack is basically ruined after I taste something yucky. I also don't like certain textures and things that are green. So please no thank you to the green bars out there! No offense if you like green things, it's okay.
My mom is not a very good cook but my dad is really great at cooking and so is my sister. .My brother doesn't cook much yet. He's a teenager so he is too busy. This is why we usually just buy bars instead of making them. Everyone is too busy here. But we don't want to spend too much money either so we have to think about how much the bars are costing us.
My Report: How I decided which are the best gluten and dairy free bars.
One of my favorite things to do besides listen to music and study pop culture, is to eat good food. So, I love it when my mom lets me sample things. Here is my report on the bars she buys and I hope that it will help you decide which bars you buy for you or your family.
We looked up different kinds of bars online and my mom and sister read labels on the bars in the grocery stores. We ordered a few to sample. You can watch my introduction video.
Sampling to Discover: Which are The Best Gluten and Dairy free Bars:
I took the paleo bar first. I said, "Taste buds, prepare to die" because I was a little scared I would not like it. My mom really likes these becaase they have a lot of protein and fiber and not a lot of sugar and bla, bla, bla.
To me, it was too hard to chew. My mom said I can microwave and it for a couple seconds and it gets softer. It taste good and they come in lots of flavors. I liked this chocolate one but my favorite is vanilla cookie and sun butter.
The next one I tried was the Epic bar. My mom, my sister, and my brother all eat these every day as a healthy, high protein snack. They really love them! These bars come in turkey, pig, beef, bison. I only tried the bison today.
I however, am not a big fan. Meat doesn't belong in a bar for me! The thing is I did not like is the raisins or some fruit in it. It doesn't go together to me.
These are basically little nut bars with sweet honey mixed in there and stuck together. I like the taste. She can pack me this in my lunch sometimes.
Sol Good-I did not like the salty caramel one but Alayna loved it. So did my mom. I like the coconut flavor though. It is soft and it tastes like a cookie. You can buy this one if you want and if you like salty and sweet together.
So, my mom said these are very delicious if you like peanut butter and they're soft and sweet. They have a lot of protein and fiber in them.
The only thing that may be a problem is if you get a chia seed stuck in your teeth after. That doesn't look very nice. Well, I tried them and I actually was not a big fan. My favorite flavor is chocolate so I would probably love the one that has chocolate chunks in it.
I love these too! I tried, apple, cherry, and peanut butter and all of them were delicious. They have some pieces of nuts mixed in there so you need to know this in case you are not a fan of nuts.
Wow! These are delicious! They are soft, and sweet and chocolatey. I felt like I was eating a brownie but this is more healthy.
I wanted to eat the whole thing but I couldn't because I had some more sampling to do. These bars have more carbs so I will not be able to eat too many. They can be a nice treat for me.
These bars are really popular and my family likes to eat them all the time. They also come in different flavors.
The only reason I did not like them is that it was hard to bite. My parents used to buy these by the case at Costco to save money. They like them and we pack them when we are taking a long walk or hiking or something like that.
